Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Reach Personal Recruitment services.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Provide transportation to appointments and outings
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Certificate
  • Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Certificate
  • Behaviour management Certification
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
Work Environment:

The Personal Support Worker will work in clients' homes, providing one-on-one support and care. The work environment will be fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
