Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a pioneering leader with a strong enthusiasm for urban planning and expertise in policy formulation. Essential Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Urban Geography, Urban Planning, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture
  2. Master's Degree in Urban Planning
  3. Over 10 years of experience in urban planning, encompassing both private and public sectors
  4. Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the Urban Planning and Design field
  5. Strong technical acumen and design proficiency, particularly in a consulting context
  6. Demonstrated portfolio of urban planning initiatives, especially in Alberta
  7. Expertise in policy formulation, planning methodologies, and navigating development and permit procedures
  8. Entrepreneurial mindset with a meticulous approach to project oversight
  9. High energy, innovative thought processes, and a dynamic perspective on design and planning
  10. Exceptional presentation and communication capabilities
