Education and Experience

We are looking for a Family Physician with a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry, and relevant experience in a clinical setting. Your experience will be an asset in providing excellent patient care.

Work Setting

You will work in a fast-paced urban clinic environment, requiring attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

As a Family Physician, you will be responsible for:

  • Consulting with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health
  • Prescribing and administering medications and treatments
  • Reporting births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities
  • Providing counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues

Certifications, Licenses and Memberships

College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) is required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

You will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing and walking environments.
