Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a highly skilled Pump Design Hydraulic Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Pump Design Centre, you will play a critical role in designing and developing high-performance pumps that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Pump Design and Development: Design and develop pump hydraulic systems, including creation of modified impeller and casing volute designs to meet custom applications.
- Hydraulic Design Calculations: Perform pump hydraulic design calculations, hydraulic modeling, and drawing creation to ensure pump performance and safety.
- Performance Testing and Analysis: Conduct performance testing and analysis of pumps to ensure compliance with API 610 and API 674 standards.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including hydraulic logs, performance curves, and NPSH calculations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure effective project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering and P Eng certification, with at least 10 years of experience in pump design and development.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD and 3D modeling software applications, with experience in performance test data analysis and processing for compliance against specification.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide direction, support, and consultation to employees, sales team, suppliers, and customers.
