About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager to join our team at EllisDon. As a key member of our pre-construction, construction, and post-construction teams, you will be responsible for planning and executing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Information Technology scopes of work for construction projects.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring timely and accurate billing for Mechanical and Electrical components.
  • Review and approve Mechanical and Electrical changes, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on project delivery and performance, utilizing available tools and information.
  • Lead project meetings, determine project status, and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and project team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and action plans to ensure high-quality services and timely deliverables.
  • Manage the commissioning program for building systems, including coordination, testing, verification, and training.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical construction, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • Proven experience in project management, including scope development, specification development, tender management, and project close-out.
  • Full understanding and experience with maintenance and life-cycle budgeting, as well as statutory and mandatory compliances and legislation.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload with limited supervision.
