Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 5-10 food service staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and kitchen helpers
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and portioning of food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
  • Hire and manage food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage
  • Establish work schedules and maintain records of stock, repairs, and sales
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk
