Position OverviewSenior Workplace Experience Specialist
Zendesk is in search of a dedicated and responsible Senior Workplace Experience Specialist to become a vital part of our growing Workplace Experience Team. This team is essential in ensuring that the daily operations for Zendesk's employees run seamlessly while fostering a vibrant workplace culture.

As an outstanding communicator, you are at ease interacting with employees across all levels, including management and external vendors. Your attention to detail and sound judgment set you apart. You approach requests with a positive mindset but are also capable of declining those that do not align with team or organizational objectives. You possess a keen awareness of both employee and organizational needs, understanding that exceptional service may require immediate attention to unforeseen challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the front desk and ticketing system, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Greet visitors and provide an outstanding experience for all in-office employees.
- Handle incoming and outgoing packages and correspondence.
- Coordinate with vendors and property managers as necessary.
- Assist in vendor management, including procurement and performance evaluation.
- Organize office event programs.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in designated buildings and areas, including kitchens and equipment.
- Maintain and update Workplace Experience documentation, spreadsheets, calendars, and floor plans.
- Lead internal communications regarding building events, maintenance, safety, and other pertinent issues.
- Support and coordinate all safety-related matters concerning the workplace.
- Manage the food and beverage services.
- Assist the Regional Workplace Experience Manager with office relocations, projects, and other initiatives.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- 2-4 years of experience in Facilities or Office Coordination/Management.
- Exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Proven project management capabilities.
- Strong proficiency in computer applications, particularly Google Suite.
- Understanding of building operations, including lighting and HVAC systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Positive demeanor and composure under pressure.
- Highly organized, punctual, and responsible.
- Event planning experience.
- Relevant academic qualifications, with a degree or diploma preferred.
- Experience with light furniture assembly.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems and access control software.
- Membership in a professional Facilities Management association.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; occasional overtime may be required.
