About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Technical Program Manager to join our dynamic Growth and Compliance division. In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of new functionalities within our Growth and Compliance product lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to enhance market presence, streamline user acquisition processes, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards while managing complex technical projects.

As a Senior TPM, you will identify growth optimization opportunities, translate legal requirements into actionable technical specifications, and ensure our platforms meet industry regulations. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align business objectives with growth initiatives, manage compliance-related risks, and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong judgment, negotiation skills, and technical expertise are crucial for success in this position.

About the Team

The Growth and Compliance TPM team is a collaborative and agile group focused on empowering engineering teams while enhancing our product offerings. We work closely with Growth Product Managers to improve user subscriptions, account access, and purchasing features. Additionally, we partner with Compliance Product Managers to implement user consent and privacy measures, ensuring global compliance with all relevant regulations. Daily Responsibilities

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, your daily tasks will include:

  • Managing multiple technology initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic business goals.
  • Developing and overseeing comprehensive program plans for significant projects, guiding teams through change effectively.
  • Collaborating across departments to ensure timely delivery of project dependencies.
  • Providing technical architecture support to product and engineering teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Working with Product Managers to create and maintain efficient backlogs.
  • Maintaining clear communication with product management, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
  • Reporting program status to various stakeholders, including executive sponsors.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration towards shared objectives.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A background as a software engineer or equivalent technical experience, enabling you to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams.
  • 8+ years of experience in technology program management, demonstrating successful delivery through all project phases.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects across various stages and stakeholder groups effectively.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks before they impact project delivery.
  • Capability to align team deliverables with broader organizational goals and drive impactful process improvements.
  • Strong leadership skills to influence teams towards positive outcomes, even without direct authority.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Experience working in a global environment, appreciating cultural differences while delivering services on a global scale.
  • A solid understanding of software development methodologies such as CI/CD, Agile, and Waterfall.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheet.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences would be advantageous:

  • Experience with Direct-To-Consumer streaming applications.
  • Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
  • Certifications in program management or agile methodologies (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).
