About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Lydia Swift. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
