About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Caregiver to join our team at Résidence des Peupliers (2012) inc. as a Medical Orderly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor Patients' Health: Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with Meal Service: Serve meal trays and assist patients with feeding.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure patients' rooms are clean and tidy, and that patients are transported safely in wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Administer first aid in emergency situations and answer call signals to determine patients' needs.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Willing to work in a rural area, hospital, or home for the aged.
  • Certifications: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Transportation: Own transportation required.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to walk and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
