About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Caregiver to join our team at Chartwell Ste-Marthe residence for seniors. As a Medical Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities: Serve meal trays, feed patients, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide personal care: Bathe, dress, and groom patients with dignity and respect.
  • Respond to patient needs: Answer call signals, administer first aid in emergency situations, and maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team: Work with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training and CPR Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and physical stamina to perform tasks.
