Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Precision Measurement Specialist to join our team at RBR Ltd. This permanent role involves working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and technical expertise are paramount.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret technical blueprints and instructions
  • Maintain and service various types of equipment
  • Assist in the preparation of estimates, schedules, and reports
  • Draft detailed specifications
  • Inspect, test, and adjust electronic components
  • Calibrate a range of electronic equipment
  • Develop and test prototypes
  • Gather and compile operational data
  • Oversee equipment installation and operation
  • Utilize test equipment effectively
  • Complete necessary reporting
  • Supervise laboratory activities
  • Conduct preventive maintenance
  • Calibrate measuring instruments
  • Apply necessary chemicals
  • Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
  • Maintain laboratory equipment
  • Interpret operational indicators
Required Certifications:
  • WHMIS Certification
Service and Repair Expertise:
  • Temperature, pressure, flow, and level instruments
Technical Proficiency:
  • Familiarity with data analysis software
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Office, and Windows
  • Experience with MAC, SQL
  • Knowledge of CMMS, MATLAB
  • Utilization of Atlassian Confluence and Jira
Instrument and Equipment Experience:
  • Experience with optical instruments
  • Proficient in using electronic testing equipment
Work Experience:
  • Laboratory testing and analysis experience
Industry Background:
  • Experience in manufacturing environments
Specialization:
  • Metrology expertise
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong environmental knowledge
Areas of Specialization:
  • Testing, installation, operations, troubleshooting
  • Failure analysis, measurement standards, calibration
