Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Respiratory Therapist to contribute to our healthcare services. This role offers an opportunity to enhance your professional journey while making a difference in the lives of patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the professional standards set by HPTC
  • Deliver respiratory treatment to patients with diverse health conditions
  • Improve the well-being of patients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Engage in cardiac diagnostic procedures
  • Ensure ongoing clinical proficiency

About the Role

This position allows you to work in a supportive environment where your skills will be valued and developed. You will have the chance to participate in a variety of clinical activities that contribute to patient care.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Completion of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy
  • Successful completion of the Health Professionals Testing Canada Credentialing Exam
  • Active membership with HPTC and the BC Society of Respiratory Therapists
  • Clinical experience in ECG, Holter Monitoring, and Stress Testing

Knowledge & Skills

  • Familiarity with HPTC standards and respiratory care methodologies
  • Capability to develop and execute care plans
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Leadership qualities
  • Physical capability to fulfill job responsibilities
