Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to patients in Acute Care, Emergency, and Labour & Delivery. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care delivery
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
  • One year of experience in Emergency Department or Labour & Delivery, or completion of relevant training programs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
