Job Summary:

The Sales Consultant will be responsible for soliciting and securing new clients for linen, workwear, and industrial uniforms within a designated sales territory. This role involves selling and promoting approved products and services, meeting or exceeding sales quotas, and working closely with the Regional Sales Manager and General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Solicit and secure new clients, sell and promote all approved lines of service or product within a designated sales territory.
  2. Continually meet or exceed sales quotas and expectations.
  3. Proactively identify, solicit, and motivate targeted prospects using a variety of methods such as cold-calling, lead qualifying, presenting proposals, and sales funnel management.
  4. Actively participate in promotions, contests, meetings, and training.
  5. Follow company sales policies and procedures, including price/product guidelines and new installation procedures.
  6. Present a professional image, build relationships, communicate openly, educate customers, manage customer needs, and proactively work with other departments to smoothly transition a new customer.
  7. Safely operate a vehicle on each trip, following all applicable laws and company policy, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure regular vehicle maintenance.
  8. Attend and work trade shows and marketing events as required.
  9. Monitor and report competitive activity.
  10. Follow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction, and strong time management skills.
  2. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  3. Have and maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety, or other violations.
  4. Recognize colors, sizes, and types of product, count, add, and subtract accurately.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a team environment.
Education and Experience:

College degree preferred or two years of sales experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

$120,000 to $150,000 per year between base salary and commission pay.
