Job Title: Java Application Developer

Azad Technology Partners is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team in Chicago, IL. As a Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in creating new Snowflake Reporting views and modifying Java microservices to consume data from strategic sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new Snowflake Reporting views to be consumed by Client Reports or other consumers.
  • Modify Java microservices to consume data from strategic sources instead of legacy sources.
  • Work with ANSI SQL, Snowflake Cloud, and SQL scripting to ensure efficient data processing.
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate Snowflake with other data processing and reporting tools.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code using Java, J2SE, Java Server Pages, XML/XSLT, JSON, AJAX, JDBC, JPA/ORM framework, and JUnit.
  • Ensure data security by working with CyberArk, encryptions, data masking, and other security tools.
  • Monitor and improve code quality using SonarQube, Checkmarx, AppSpider, and CAST.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines best practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with cloud-based technologies, including Snowflake and cloud storage.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, J2SE, Java Server Pages, XML/XSLT, JSON, AJAX, JDBC, JPA/ORM framework, and JUnit.
  • Ability to work with ANSI SQL, Snowflake Cloud, and SQL scripting.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data processing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
