We are seeking a highly skilled Placement Officer to join our team at Unica College. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment and staffing process, ensuring that we attract and retain top talent to support our academic and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Staffing: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post job notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Talent Acquisition: Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions, co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, and notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
- Staffing Policies and Procedures: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, and negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process.
- HR Systems and Tools: Utilize HR software and systems to manage recruitment, staffing, and employee data, and provide information or services, such as employee assistance and counselling.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in recruitment, staffing, and human resources, preferably in an educational or private sector setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in HR software and systems.
