ADMINSTRATIVE COORDINATOR / PURCHASING
Job Offer:
The purchasing coordinator is responsible for timely placement of purchase orders and follow-ups.
Monitor status of open orders and report to sales personnel any problematic issues.
Optimize inbound shipment for best way to ship products.
Follow up with warehouse for all receiving and quality control of all shipments.
Coordinate with factories for all international and overseas incoming shipments to ensure all custom documentation, brokerage and duty are in-order for transportation of shipments to arrive without any delays.
Document and escalate any issues shipping / receiving errors: damages, shortages, wrong shipments etc. and work with the suppliers for claims and returns.
Request necessary deposits to accounting for order processing and proforma invoices.
Labeling and updating inventory of samples, removing discontinued samples from inventory, showroom and pricelists.
Verify invoices and approve carpet, color qty and pricing.
Verifying and paying all freight bills, preparing the invoices for the credit card or payments.
Assist on special projects as needed.
Assist sales personnel in their day-to-day tasks.
Working with administrative to open and complete projects.
Ordering of all office supplies.
**Skills**:Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
Bilingual both oral and written.
Detail oriented & meticulous.
Job Summary:
Staring date immediately.
Salary based with medical and dental insurance and parking.
40 hrs per week from 9:00-5:00 includes 4 weeks vacation. (Christmas and Construction Holidays)
Job position is permanent.
Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
