Your Role at Arc'teryx: As a pivotal leader, you will guide a dedicated team in delivering exceptional guest interactions, fostering connections, and striving towards ambitious goals both within the store and in the community. You will oversee all facets of retail operations and play a crucial role in developing your team and community.

Key Responsibilities:

Directing a team in accordance with the Arc'teryx Vision, Purpose, and Values. Managing the overall leadership of the store, focusing on the five essential pillars of the business: experience, product, community, operations, and people. Training and mentoring a high-performing team through the Arc'teryx Guest Journey, ensuring a top-tier guest experience. Leading from the sales floor 80% of the time to champion exceptional guest service. Overseeing the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding, including training, development, performance management, and separation. Driving store profitability by engaging the entire team in achieving sales targets and maintaining discipline in labor and expense management. Managing scheduling and hours for your team, prioritizing both guest and employee experiences. Building community partnerships to identify brand ambassadors and influencers, enhancing brand visibility. Taking ownership of product and inventory management, including executing product walkthroughs and overseeing visual merchandising. Utilizing company resources to strategically plan your store's budget and labor hours, holding full accountability for outcomes. Leading weekly leadership meetings to communicate brand updates and address the five key areas of the business: People, Product, Community, Operations, and Finance.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of leadership and retail management experience. Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on recruiting, hiring, training, and developing future leaders. An entrepreneurial spirit with a commitment to continuous improvement and achieving results. A passion for service and providing an outstanding experience for guests. Proven financial skills, including budgeting, sales forecasting, expense control, and net profit management. Ability to establish a clear vision, align your team with shared goals, and foster commitment to these objectives. A commitment to finding the best solutions, prioritizing integrity and ethical practices. A passion for leadership that is matched by a love for outdoor activities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong time management and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Capability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Expectations:

Availability must align with business needs, which may change periodically. The Store Manager will determine availability in collaboration with the Regional Manager, which may include various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Employees are expected to be available during peak shopping periods, including significant retail events. You will be accountable for executing all responsibilities outlined in the Store Manager Role and Responsibilities document, and may also perform duties of the Product Guide, Lead, and Assistant Store Manager as required. Compensation: A competitive salary range of $66,300 - $91,200 CAD is offered, based on job-related skills, experience, and education. This range reflects base pay only and does not include additional bonuses and benefits.
