Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading a team in accordance with the Arc'teryx Vision, Purpose, and Values.
  • Overseeing floor operations, ensuring proficiency across the five business pillars: experience, product, community, operations, and people.
  • Facilitating training and coaching for a high-performing team, focused on delivering a premier guest journey.
  • Championing floor leadership and outstanding guest experiences by being present on the floor for the majority of your workweek.
  • Managing the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, including hiring, training, performance management, and termination.
  • Driving store profitability by engaging the entire team in achieving sales goals and maintaining discipline in labor planning and expense management.
  • Overseeing scheduling and hours management with a strong commitment to both guest and employee experiences.
  • Building community partnerships to identify brand ambassadors and influencers, enhancing brand visibility.
  • Managing all aspects of product and inventory, including conducting product walkthroughs and overseeing visual merchandising.
  • Utilizing company resources to strategically plan store budgets and labor hours, with full accountability for outcomes.
  • Leading weekly leadership meetings to communicate brand updates and address the five key business areas (People, Product, Community, Operations, and Finance).

  • 3-5 years of leadership and retail management experience.

  • Demonstrated financial acumen, including budgeting, sales forecasting, expense control, and net profit management.

Expectations:
  • Availability must align with business needs, which may vary over time. The Store Manager, in collaboration with the Regional Manager, determines scheduling requirements, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • All employees are expected to be available for peak shopping days and the holiday season, as defined annually.
  • You will be accountable for executing all responsibilities outlined in the Store Manager Role and Responsibilities document, and may perform the duties of other roles as necessary.
