Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Physical Security Systems Specialist to join our team at Lenovo. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing expert support for our enterprise PSIM systems, ensuring compliance with industry and company standards, and advising on security site designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Technology Solutions: Support scalable growth, automation, and optimal business outcomes for our security technology solutions.
  • PSIM System Compliance: Ensure PSIM systems comply with industry and company standards, including security hardware assessments and software licensing.
  • Security Site Designs: Advise on security site designs for installation and maintenance of intrusion detection, access control, and video management systems.
  • Regional Security Management: Support Regional Security Managers to ensure local requirements are incorporated into standardized security solutions.
  • System Health and Monitoring: Provide guidance on system health and monitoring standards, including regular patch updates and upgrades.
  • VAR Relationships: Assist regional leads with VAR relationships and services agreements relevant to physical security systems and technology providers.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Identify and perform installation and maintenance activities that support the Security Systems' preventative maintenance plans.
  • Documentation and Metrics: Maintain and track documentation on operational performance metrics for PSIM systems.
  • System Expansions and Upgrades: Provide guidance for the planning and management of system expansions and upgrades.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in designing, installing, and maintaining technical security systems for corporate, manufacturing, and standalone facilities.
  • Technical Skills: General personal computer application skills with spreadsheets, databases, word processors, and graphics, as well as knowledge of IP-based and electronic security and communications systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • LAN and WAN System Knowledge: Knowledge of LAN and WAN systems.
  • Computer-Aided Electronics Drafting: Computer-Aided electronics drafting and design-documentation skills.
