About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Cooke Inc. in St. Alban's, Newfoundland.

As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will work closely with our Marine Maintenance supervisor to repair, maintain, and install electrical systems on all equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Testing electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
  • Maintaining, repairing, and installing switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, and other electrical equipment
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining marine electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
  • Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and schematics
