Senior/Intermediate Electrical Engineer

Wood is expanding its team to support upcoming work in the Voisey's Bay office. We are seeking a Senior/Intermediate Electrical Engineer for a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Industrial/Mining industry.

This is an opportunity to work in an energized and continuous learning environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems and control systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing electrical systems for industrial and mining applications
  • Ensuring compliance with local codes and standards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation

Requirements:

  • University graduation in electrical engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Canada
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • 8+ years of relevant experience

Experience with underground mining power and control systems is considered an asset.
