Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

VTEK Consultants Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and equipment for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct feasibility studies and design operation and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks
  • Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures
  • Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for construction or maintenance
  • Commission systems and components
Requirements:
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • 5 years or more of experience in electrical design and engineering
