The Retail Sales Representative is tasked with assisting the Store Leadership Team in achieving various organizational objectives and initiatives. This role requires the individual to exemplify and uphold exceptional customer service through effective communication, comprehensive product knowledge, and suitable sales techniques. The Retail Sales Representative will ensure that all merchandise is presented according to company standards, while also maintaining a tidy and organized store environment.Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
Monitor customer interactions and respond promptly, prioritizing customer assistance over other responsibilities. Welcome and acknowledge customers, providing the necessary level of service. Clearly communicate the value and quality of products while promoting current offers and suggesting alternatives for unavailable items. Use sound judgment to effectively resolve customer issues. Apply appropriate selling techniques to positively influence sales conversion rates. Deliver quick, friendly, and precise service at the checkout while informing customers about the benefits of the loyalty program. Maintain adequate stock levels, ensuring representation of all sizes and styles. Adhere to company guidelines for merchandise presentation, signage, and displays. Support a clean and organized stockroom, ensuring a customer-ready environment while following safety protocols. Carry out daily cleaning tasks to meet company standards. Protect company assets by following all Loss Prevention protocols. Notify the Store Leadership Team of any maintenance or facility needs to ensure a safe and clean environment for customers and staff. Contribute focused efforts towards achieving store performance goals. Demonstrate flexibility by assisting with stock processing as needed.Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in retail is preferred. Must be at least 18 years old.Skills and Attributes:
Strong customer engagement skills. Proven time management and organizational abilities. Capability to work effectively in a team setting. Must be adaptable to changing priorities. Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs, including weekends and evenings. Ability to navigate the sales floor and stockroom; capable of climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs.
