About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Driver to join our team at Box Bus Inc. As a Lead Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages and cargo to our customers in the Toronto area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver packages and cargo to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist in the training and development of new drivers
  • Coordinate with dispatch to manage rescues and solve driver issues
  • Operate a cargo van to transport packages and cargo
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to safely get in and out of a vehicle multiple times a day
  • Relatively clean driver abstract
  • No DUI/DWI or suspensions within five previous years
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • Excellent English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of courier experience in the Toronto/Scarborough area, preferably downtown
  • Intelcom experience in either delivery or dispatch
  • Team lead / management experience
  • Customer service background
  • A can-do attitude
  • Time management skills
