Geriatric Psychiatrist Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our team in providing consultation to patients and their families/caregivers, primary care physicians, and fellow health care professionals in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and clinical expertise to the GEM team, a multidisciplinary geriatric consultation-liaison program in acute care.
  • Offer consultation services to remote areas on Vancouver Island through the NITAOP program.
  • Participate in clinical service, teaching, and ongoing program development as part of the Island-wide Dementia Strategy.
  • Contribute to the NRGH General Psychiatry call rotation.
  • Involve in the Island Medical Program undergraduate and postgraduate teaching program.
