Job Title: Geriatric Psychiatrist

We are seeking a part-time Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our team in providing consultation to patients and their families/caregivers, primary care physicians, and fellow health care professionals in Acute Inpatient, Outpatient, and Residential Care settings in Nanaimo.

About the Role:
  • Provide consultation to patients and their families/caregivers, primary care physicians, and fellow health care professionals in Acute Inpatient, Outpatient, and Residential Care settings.
  • Participate in clinical service, teaching, and ongoing program development as part of the Island-wide Dementia Strategy.
  • Involve in the NRGH General Psychiatry call rotation and the Island Medical Program undergraduate and postgraduate teaching program.
