Summary:

In this role, you will lead the security personnel under the guidance of the security manager, ensuring the protection of assets, facilities, employees, and guests. Adhering to local, provincial, and federal regulations, the Security Operations Supervisor will ensure that all security team members foster positive relationships with patrons in a diplomatic and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional guest service in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Ensure physical security, manage crowd control, and handle incidents effectively
  • Lead a team to achieve outstanding customer service
  • Oversee and evaluate the performance of the security team
  • Assess situations with sensitivity and proactively provide solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical and critical thinking abilities

Experience and Education:

  • Completion of Gaming Security Officer (GSO) Training Certification (online course/written exam)
  • Ability to obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Enforcement Branch
  • First Aid Level 1 certification; Level 2 is an asset but not mandatory
  • 1-2 years of relevant security or surveillance experience; gaming experience is a plus
  • Educational background in law enforcement is advantageous
