Job Title: Retail Salesperson

We are seeking a skilled Retail Salesperson to join our team at Drunken Chocolatier. As a Retail Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate a cash register, handling cash, credit card, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
  • Assist in the display of merchandise, including setting up and maintaining visual displays and ensuring that products are properly stocked and faced.
  • Participate in inventory management, including counting and reconciling inventory, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products, including their features, benefits, and applications.
  • Assist in the implementation of sales promotions and visual merchandising plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
