HCR Permanent Search is collaborating with a leading manufacturing organization seeking to appoint a Quality Assurance Lead. Candidates should possess relevant experience as a Quality Supervisor or a Senior Quality Engineer within a Canadian tier 1 or tier 2 automotive stamping or welding enterprise.
Essential Qualifications- A College Diploma or a University Degree in a related field.
- CQE Certification is required.
- Proven experience as a Quality Supervisor or Senior Quality Engineer in a Canadian tier 1 or tier 2 automotive manufacturing environment, specifically in stamping or welding.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards.
- Demonstrated experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficient in conducting root cause analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts by utilizing KPIs and data analysis.
- Oversee the quality team, actively addressing and preventing quality-related challenges.
- Provide training and mentorship to quality personnel.
- Cultivate relationships with clients and promptly address their concerns.
- Uphold the IATF16949 Quality Management System.
- Manage the PPAP process, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
