About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Product Strategist to join our team at IBM, where you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Product Ownership: You will be responsible for owning a specific product area, driving growth and continuous improvement, and embodying expertise in your product space.
  2. Agile Team Environment: You will foster an Agile team environment, maximizing productivity throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
  3. Innovative Development: You will drive innovative development with a roadmap centered on maximizing customer outcomes and minimizing technical debt.
  4. Strategic Leadership: You will lead your product's strategy by aligning multiple stakeholders, delivering valuable outcomes, and realizing the intended impact.
  5. Partnership Development: You will establish strategic partnerships to amplify the value and reach of your product, expand functionality, and attract an adjacent customer base to drive continued success.
Required Skills and Experience
  1. Customer-Centric Approach: You will demonstrate a track record of championing the voice of the customer, conducting customer-driven usability studies, and hypothesis-driven experimentation.
  2. Passion for Innovation: You will exhibit deep passion and curiosity, driven by a desire to create innovative solutions, and make decisions informed by data-driven insights.
  3. Financial Acumen: You will showcase strong financial acumen, with an ability to develop a compelling product business case, drive commercial success, and understand impacts to P&L and SaaS metrics such as LTV, CAC, and NRR.
  4. Product Development Experience: You will leverage your experience in driving product ownership and growth across the full product development lifecycle, providing demonstrable examples of successful product discovery and launch.
  5. Stakeholder Management: You will prove your ability to effectively communicate and manage multiple stakeholder relationships, relying on influence rather than authority to establish a shared product vision.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  1. A/B Testing and Analytics: You will showcase experience in implementing A/B testing at scale, coupled with the ability to track and diagnose funnel metrics, and a proven record of generating substantial growth through analytics.
  2. Agile Development Environment: You will bring forth prior Product Management experience in an Agile development environment, driving significant product growth on a cloud-focused platform, and exposure to DevOps/GitOps solutions, and proficiency in AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or Kubernetes.
