Purchasing/Stores Assistant

SGL is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing/Stores Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Purchasing/Stores Department, you will be responsible for purchasing aircraft parts, tools, and equipment, as well as maintaining inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

Responsibilities
  • Purchase and receive aircraft parts, tools, and equipment
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records
  • Liaise with field crews to ensure parts and equipment availability
  • Perform local pick up and delivery of parts and materials
  • Attend training courses and maintain technical knowledge
  • Understand and comply with company safety policies
Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous experience in parts, materials, and equipment management
  • Knowledge of aircraft terminology and inventory tracking software
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and obtain necessary certifications
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
