Job Title: Assistant Cook

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Cook to join our team at Denny's Restaurants. As an Assistant Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality food is prepared and served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
  • Training and Supervision: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Kitchen Operations: Supervise kitchen staff and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure the kitchen and work areas are clean and safe for staff and customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant in an urban area.
