About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Pet Valu. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth in our store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, store maintenance, and loss prevention
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and optimize store performance
  • Collaborate with the store team to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a pet-related industry
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving sales growth
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively
