About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Farm Laborer at Pennwood Dairy Inc. This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fertilize and spray crops to ensure optimal growth and yield
  • Feed and tend to animals, including milking cows and monitoring their health
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations
  • Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a clean and healthy environment
  • Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry to prevent the spread of illness
  • Set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops to ensure optimal conditions
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in agriculture or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
