About the Role:

As a Director of Structured Finance and Innovation, you will play a key role in supporting companies across Canada in their financing needs. You will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and develop financial strategies to achieve them. Your expertise in complex credit structuring and execution will be invaluable in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic support to clients in the development of financial strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and mitigate financial risks
  • Participate in the preparation of files, including analysis and establishment of financing structures
  • Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with funding and risk management policies
  • Use credit risk and profitability assessment tools to ensure compliance with funding and risk management policies
Requirements:
  • Completed bachelor's degree, related to the industry, and 7 years of relevant experience OR completed Master's degree, related to the industry, and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in complex trade credit, acquisition loans, and knowledge of business products and services
  • Experience analyzing complex financial models
  • Experience in customer service, negotiation, and business development
  • Ability to manage priorities and timelines
  • Interpersonal skills and team player
  • Knowledge of capital market debt instruments an asset
  • Experience in syndicated financing an asset
