A practicum in Public Health Inspection is a prerequisite for this role.To express interest in a practicum, please direct your request to the Team Lead – Environmental Health. In alignment with the organization's established vision and values, the Environmental Health Officer is tasked with executing a comprehensive program aimed at environmental health safeguarding.
Employing a range of professional and technical competencies, this role aims to diminish the occurrence of communicable diseases, injuries, and health risks; conducts technical evaluations; provides consultative and educational services; ensures that community development aligns with environmental health standards; and guarantees adherence to environmental health legislation, policies, and guidelines.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Daytime - 08:30 to 16:30

- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle.
