Job Title: Barista/Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Barista/Cashier to join our team at Rosedale's Finest Specialty Foods. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a point-of-sale system, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve specialty beverages to customers, including coffee, tea, and other hot and cold drinks.
  • Operate a point-of-sale system to process customer transactions and manage cash and credit sales.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and surrounding areas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Barista/Cashier or in a related role.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
