Overview:

Nova Halifax is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our expanding events division as an Event Marketing Coordinator. We are seeking candidates who possess a background in marketing, event management, or related fields.

Our organization prides itself on fostering talent in customer service, event planning, public relations, and marketing. Comprehensive training will be provided for those who demonstrate a desire to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Event Marketing Coordinator, your primary objective will be to collaborate with fellow marketing assistants, sales representatives, and customer service representatives to enhance brand visibility for our clients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Achieving personal and team sales targets through daily interactions at various event locations
  • Providing accurate and comprehensive information to assist customers in making informed decisions
  • Establishing and nurturing sustainable relationships with clients through open communication
  • Working closely with management to address their needs and enhance customer experiences
  • Maintaining the overall aesthetic and organization of events
  • Collaborating with marketing and public relations teams to attract new clientele to events

Qualifications:

To excel as an Event Marketing Coordinator, candidates should possess the following:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications
  • The ability to thrive under pressure and solve problems effectively
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada (Work Visas and Authorizations are welcome)

As this role requires in-person attendance, successful candidates must be able to commute to our Halifax office daily and be available to start work in the near future.
