About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Assistant to join our team at Malibu Events Promotions. As an Event Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including venue selection, catering, and logistics
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services and products
  • Manage event schedules, timelines, and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the event team to develop and implement event concepts, themes, and marketing strategies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, event management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event planning software
