As the Director of Sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing our sustainability strategy, working towards key environmental targets such as net-zero emissions by 2050.
You will be responsible for embedding sustainable practices into existing and future developments, ensuring environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles are a core part of our business.
This role involves managing a multidisciplinary team and collaborating closely with senior leadership to ensure sustainability efforts align with broader corporate objectives.
You will be a key advocate for our sustainability initiatives, both internally and externally, and will have the autonomy to lead significant sustainability initiatives for a large-scale portfolio of properties across Canada.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leadership in sustainability, ESG, or corporate social responsibility, preferably within the real estate or building sectors.
With at least 10 years of experience in sustainability roles, you are skilled at driving complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and are passionate about implementing initiatives that drive real environmental impact.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as sustainability, business, or operations, and are highly knowledgeable about green building practices, building codes, and sustainability reporting frameworks.
