About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Counsellor to join our team at EUTON COLLEGE CORP. as a key member of our academic support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience
    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
    • Have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related role, or equivalent experience
  • Key Tasks
    • Attend educational conferences and workshops to stay up-to-date on industry developments
    • Supervise teaching assistants to ensure effective support for students
    • Counsel students on educational, career, and vocational issues, as well as personal and social issues
    • Consult with teachers, parents, administrators, and community agencies to provide comprehensive support
    • Coordinate the provision of counselling and information services to students, parents, and teachers
    • Refer students to other specialized services when required
    • Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and workshops to stay informed and contribute to team discussions
    • Develop guidance and counselling programs to support student success
    • Visit colleges and secondary schools to provide academic information to prospective students, their parents, and educational institutions
    • Prepare and deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, and symposia to share expertise and best practices
    • Produce reports to track progress and evaluate program effectiveness
    • Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the department
    • Evaluate curriculum programs and recommend improvements to enhance student outcomes
    • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia to share knowledge and expertise
    • Conduct statistical analyses to determine the cost and effectiveness of education policies and programs
    • Monitor and evaluate the impact of initiatives and programs
    • Determine the objectives and milestones of new projects to ensure effective planning and execution
    Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficient in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
    • Skilled in MS PowerPoint for presentation creation and delivery
    • Proficient in MS Windows for general computer operations
    • Skilled in MS Word for document creation and editing
    • Proficient in MS Outlook for email and calendar management
    • Proficient in Google Drive for cloud-based storage and collaboration
