Overview
The Registered Charity, BullyingCanada Inc.
(BCI) is on the lookout for a Chief Fundraising Officer to become a vital part of our national team, spearheading fundraising initiatives across the country through mid-level and major contributions.
Role Description
Established in 2006, BullyingCanada is a complimentary bilingual donor-supported 24/7/365 national assistance service dedicated to supporting bullied children and youth until we can effectively address their bullying situation, a journey that can span from 2 weeks to a year.
If you aspire to create a significant difference in the lives of youth affected by bullying, this is an excellent opportunity to join our dedicated team at BCI.
We are in search of a mission-focused, results-driven, and seasoned Chief Fundraising Officer who is enthusiastic about identifying new individual, corporate, and foundation supporters for BCI and elevating individual, corporate, and foundation contributions to new heights.
- Collaborate with our Administration Manager and Executive Director to formulate and implement both short-term and long-term fundraising objectives, ensuring consistent revenue growth year-over-year.
- Devote full attention to discovering and securing new donors for BullyingCanada, including foundations, individuals, and grants. This role demands proactive outreach, networking, and research to uncover new funding avenues, rather than depending on existing contributors. - Enhance and broaden revenue development prospects with current donors through cultivation and strategic implementation.
- Engage new corporate and foundation donors and create personalized stewardship strategies.
- Ensure all fundraising activities and donor engagement align with relevant Foundation policies and practices.

- Provide weekly updates (or as necessary) on fundraising progress and objectives to the Administration Manager and/or Executive Director.
- Formulate prospect solicitation strategies and proposals.
- Oversee, monitor, and manage grant and foundation applications alongside the Administration Manager & the Executive Director.
- Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective funders, including applications for funding, stewardship agreements, and reporting.
- Draft reports, proposals, and correspondence related to grants and foundations.
- Investigate and pursue new opportunities for grant and foundation applications that will generate revenue for BullyingCanada.
- Experience in utilizing AI tools to produce comprehensive reports and documents related to fundraising and development activities.
