Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Systems Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of our multimedia systems, including video, lighting, and sound.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and document technical systems for multimedia installations
  • Prototype and test new technologies and systems
  • Assemble and prepare equipment for projects
  • Install, configure, and calibrate equipment and software on-site
  • Manage technical equipment and digital files
Support and Operations
  • Develop the audiovisual component of project operation documentation
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support for project operations
Resource and Development
  • Assist, train, and support team members in their areas of expertise
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in multimedia, software, and technical integration
Requirements
  • Degree in audiovisual production or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in audiovisual or technical fields
  • Advanced proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to travel frequently for project work
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Disguise, Coolux, Watchout, etc.)
  • Strong manual skills, including assembly and installation
  • Ability to design technical audiovisual, electrical, and network schematics in collaboration with the network architect
  • Knowledge of cabling and soldering
  • Ability to install operation systems, maintain, and diagnose computer systems (Mac and Linux)
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (TCP/IP, SDVoE, NDI, MQTT, OSC, Artnet/DMX/sACN, RS232, LTC, MTC)
  • Knowledge of equipment (matrices, video projectors, audio, lighting, etc.)
  • Knowledge of audiovisual communication protocols (Dante, Artnet, NDI, DMX, MIDI, etc.) and networking (routing, sharing, network administration, IP, DNS, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Training in interactive media and performing arts
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of lighting programming
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD, VectorWorks
