Clinical Externship Program

The Clinical Externship Program at HHS invites learners from various healthcare fields to collaborate with clinical teams. Currently, HHS is seeking Clinical Externs to assist with different patient demographics across multiple hospital locations.

Role Overview

The Clinical Extern – Physiotherapy Learner position plays a vital role in delivering care to patients and their families in conjunction with the healthcare team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with personal care tasks
  • Enhancing patient safety measures
  • Supporting a range of medical interventions

This role is designed for Physiotherapy Students currently enrolled in an accredited program who have successfully completed a clinical placement.

This position is part-time and temporary, requiring adaptability in work hours, including availability on weekends.

Requirements
  • Current enrollment in a Physiotherapy program
  • Strong academic performance
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Prior clinical placement experience is preferred
