Position Overview:

  • Proficient clerical and typing skills with a strong foundation in office management.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping practices.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Fluency in both Tok Pisin and Ipili is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage pressure effectively.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including integrated management systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Understanding of CMMS fundamentals (e.g., Oracle systems) and data management processes.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Capability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated maturity and professionalism in the workplace.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Handle incoming communications, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing various documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Maintain and update company records and filing systems to ensure accessibility and accuracy.
  • Support inventory management and procurement of office supplies.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for staff as necessary.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as required.
  • Act as a liaison for inquiries related to Asset Protection Department services, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Prepare and review documents and presentations with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Contribute to operational tasks that support the Asset Protection Department's objectives.
  • Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards in compliance with company policies.

Mobilization Requirements:

  • Current police clearance certificate obtained within the last six months is mandatory.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment medical examination and drug and alcohol screening is required.
  • Local candidates are preferred and must be available to commence work immediately.
  • The work schedule consists of 20 days on duty followed by 8 days off.
  • Applications from both male and female candidates are encouraged.
