About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Partner Development Leader to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. As a key member of our Partner Sales Team, you will be responsible for driving growth and shaping the future of our managed set of strategic consulting partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow and manage a highly talented partner development team focused on new opportunity creation, AWS practice creation, and new partner development and growth.
  • Build coordinated and comprehensive go-to-market investment plans with our field managed partners.
  • Work extensively with internal teams, including technical leadership, legal, marketing, contracts, and executive teams, to ensure growth through, to, and with AWS' partners.
  • Lead a team of senior partner development managers with sales, technical, and marketing engagements at all levels of the partnership.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our partner ecosystem.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in IT sales, partner development, or channel sales.
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams conducting structured one-on-one, performance managing, and developing talent.
  • Experience with channel partner requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by AWS services.
  • Presentation experience positioning solutions to partners relevant to their industry or target market.
