Your Role as a Collision Damage Assessment Specialist

As a Collision Damage Assessment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient vehicle damage assessments. You will be responsible for guiding customers through the repair process, providing expert estimates, and collaborating with insurers to deliver exceptional service.

  • Customer Interaction & Education: Clearly communicate repair processes and expectations to customers, fostering trust and transparency throughout their experience.
  • Estimation Expertise: Utilize your proficiency in industry-standard software like Mitchell Connect and Audatex to generate precise estimates, reflecting OEM standards and insurer requirements.
  • Damage Assessment & Documentation: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections with customers, identifying damages accurately. Capture detailed photographic documentation adhering to shop and insurer guidelines.
  • Cost Management & Communication: Effectively manage repair costs, ensuring alignment with insurer expectations. Maintain clear and consistent communication with both insurers and customers throughout the process.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all repairs meet stringent quality standards, delivering a flawless final product to the customer.

Your Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Collision Damage Estimator (3-5 years).
  • Mastery of Mitchell Connect and Audatex software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant industry applications.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • In-depth knowledge of various Insurance Direct Repair Program (DRP) practices and guidelines.
  • I-CAR training is a valuable asset.
