Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Nottingham Child Care. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our childcare centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • or equivalent experience
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1)
  • Child development worker (ECE level 2)
  • Criminal record check
  • Vulnerable sector check
